KM2 Solutions first opened its doors in Honduras on March 14th, 2011, at the Altia Business and Technology Park in San Pedro Sula. KM2 was the first international BPO to be established there. As KM2‘s fourth location, Honduras represented its first Latin American operation, and with it, the ability to offer bilingual services. It launched with just one client comprised of twenty-five agents. Fast forward ten years, and KM2 Solutions Honduras now serves twenty-five clients across all major industries, with over one-thousand employees, and currently occupies sixty-thousand square feet of the same Altia Business Park where it all began.
Honduras was chosen primarily because of its people, and celebrating this decade of continued growth and success is a testament to that. From being awarded ‘The Central American and Caribbean Contact Center Outsourcing Customer Value Leadership Award’ by Frost and Sullivan in 2015, to the incredible outreach and charitable work our employees undertake in the local communities through our ‘KM2 Cares’ initiative, we attribute our success to the hard work and dedication of every employee both in the office and in supporting their wider communities.

The challenges faced in the past year were numerous, from navigating the global pandemic while ensuring our employees’ health and safety to the two devastating hurricanes that descended on Honduras. The resilience and fortitude demonstrated by our people are worthy of celebration in itself. With over 120 of our employees adversely impacted by Hurricanes Eta and Iota, we maintained continuity for our clients while also raising around US$66,000 for relief and support to those worst affected.
