A Look Back at 2022

As we wrap up 2022, it’s time to take a look back at the past year. While 2022 hasn’t been without its challenges, it’s also been a year of outstanding achievements. For most of us, this year has seen a full return to normalcy following the disruption caused by the pandemic, with protocols lifted, ease of travel resumed, and a return to business as usual. There have, however, been some lingering byproducts of the pandemic, such as supply chain issues and record inflation, to name just a few. But every cloud has a silver lining, and while no one is entirely immune to this economic fallout, KM² Solutions has managed to draw positives and continues to spearhead growth as it enters its nineteenth year of operations as a leader in nearshore outsourcing.

Growth:
As we discussed in our February thought leadership article titled U.S. Labor Challenges, record inflation and subsequent wage hikes fueled a renewed demand for high-quality, cost-effective outsourcing solutions. KM²’s exclusively nearshore strategy and multi-geo business model position it as a provider of choice. While businesses in the U.S. contracted, KM² continued to grow, seeing significant organic growth and exciting new client acquisitions as many more major corporations and Fortune 500 companies chose to partner with us. KM² has made major inroads into new and existing verticals, with standout gains in the Financial Services and Insurance spaces.
Expansion:
With this growth, of course, comes capacity expansion. With an increased demand for quality bilingual services, April saw us announce a significant Bilingual Sites Expansion, with the addition of 700 seats in Honduras, 320 in Colombia, and 450 in the Dominican Republic. These additions were just the beginning, as in September, KM² was pleased to announce further significant expansions to its Caribbean Sites. An additional 1500 new jobs are coming to Barbados, Grenada, and St. Lucia in the upcoming year, meaning brick-and-mortar expansion is underway in both Barbados and St. Lucia, with a new, second facility coming online in Grenada in the capital, St. George’s early next year.
Awards:
2022 was also a year of accolades, having been awarded a Top Ten Healthcare BPO award in February, followed by the Frost & Sullivan 2022 Central American and Caribbean Customer Experience Outsourcing Services Company of the Year Award. This marked the third time KM² Solutions has been recognized with a prestigious award from Frost & Sullivan, having been previously recognized as a Customer Value Leader (2015) and acknowledged for Competitive Strategy Innovation (2019). The Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year Award is its top honor and recognizes the market participant that exemplifies visionary innovation, market-leading performance, and unmatched customer care.

Technology:

Key to KM²’s success is its continuous investment in and application of cutting-edge technology to enhance the customer experience and streamline processes. Through its partnerships with leading technology providers, KM² has broadened its toolkit to include a suite of AI-powered tools  incorporating Predictable Behavioral Routing, Conversational AI, Emotional AI, and Virtual Assistants to automate processes, improve efficiencies, and streamline the customer journey. Beyond this new wave of tools, KM² has also upgraded its technology infrastructure to ensure the utmost safety, security, and redundancy of our systems for now and well into the future.
